Dental Department

The dental department supports oral and dental health through assessment of concerns such as toothache, gum problems, oral discomfort and preventive dental advice. A dental professional can explain appropriate examination, treatment options and referral needs.

Helpful to know: If you have tooth pain, swollen gums or bleeding when brushing, request an assessment. Severe facial swelling, fever with swelling, or difficulty breathing or swallowing requires urgent medical attention. Please confirm available dental procedures and consultation times with reception.

Helpful to know: Start antenatal care early; bring previous test results and your antenatal record.

Minor surgery

Assessment and selected small procedures that may be performed under appropriate clinical conditions, depending on the case and available equipment.

Helpful to know: A clinician must first determine whether a procedure is suitable and explain risks and aftercare.

Laboratory testing can help clinicians investigate symptoms, monitor health conditions and guide treatment decisions.

Helpful to know: Ask whether a test requires fasting, a sample or a medical request.

Nursing care

Support with prescribed treatments, wound care, vital-sign checks and other nursing needs as clinically indicated.

Helpful to know: Bring prescriptions and relevant medical documents.
